Sisig and sinigang are both staples in Filipino cuisine, and are often considered as comfort food. Both dishes also share a sour tang. Yes, even sisig whose name was actually derived from the word “sisigan,” which means “to make sour.”
These two popular dishes are the latest addition to the menu of Moment Group’s Filipino restaurant Manam Comfort Filipino. Available for a limited time, these classic favorites are available in crispier versions: the house squid sisig and sizzling crispy sinigang.
The sisig dish is made of squid bits that are crisp on the outside and chewy inside. The squid is tossed in a tangy, creamy sauce and sprinkled with fresh green chili and kamias for a touch of citrusy and spicy flavors. It is available in three sizes: small (P190), medium (P330) and large (P498).
Manam’s new sizzling crispy sinigang meanwhile contains chunks of crispy lechon kawali soaked in a rich and tangy sinigang gravy. The dish is also garnished with cherry tomatoes, radish, sitaw and kangkong, all of which complete the sinigang experience. Crispy sinigang is available in small, medium and large servings for P300, P550 and P905, respectively.
The house squid sisig and sizzling crispy sinigang are both available for take out and dine in across all Manam stores. You may also enjoy them at home by ordering through Manam’s website, GrabFood and FoodPanda, or directly calling Manam’s hotlines.
