A recent post from Ruffles’ official Facebook page is making the rounds on social media, and it shows us that the Fritolay Food Company does have a funny bone.
The announcement for a new flavor of Rosé potato chips was posted yesterday with the caption “You asked. We‘delivered.’” And it’s been blowing up since then.
If you’ll notice on the image, the time offer written beside the bag of chips reads “Limited Time NEVER.” For those who need me to spell it out for them, it means they weren’t actually offering Rosé flavored potato chips. It was supposed to be a joke.
Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to have missed the punchline. When you go to the comments section of said post, plenty of users are expressing how they find this latest flavor to be a total waste of time and money.
Some Ruffles fans are concerned about the legal implications.
Meanwhile, others are already asking for an entire line of alcoholic potato chips.
I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry.
