In a report online on the closing of Mile Long, it mentioned in a statement that Little Tokyo would be closing its doors, “with plans to transfer” in 18 months. However, according to sources, Mile Long and Triplex are owned by different groups.
Hana, a Japanese restaurant inside the Little Tokyo complex, was quick to react to the article on their Twitter account, saying that these rumors are false. In their statements, it is the restaurants that line Mile Long that is being transferred, with no connection at all to Little Tokyo. A few netizens have called out the report. See the tweets below.
