Where I grew up, taho is strictly a morning treat. The magtataho bellows, the kids and adults rush out with coins clinking. Where I went to college, taho is a whole-day treat. Somehow, I’ve associated the warm soy curds with syrup and tapioca pearls with breakfast. Or it may be that taho just sells out early in the morning.
But is cold taho really that bad?
It turns out, it isn’t. In fact, it’s also good frozen, as in ice cream.
