In case you missed it, the world’s biggest French dinner Goût de France is returning to the Philippines this week. And speaking of the French, French-inspired furniture and lifestyle shop Lady Scott Jones (LSJ) is also having its own special event in the form of a once-a-year sale until Mar. 31. You can score various furniture pieces from tables, cabinets, and chairs to accessories like vases and lamps for 50 to 70 percent less than its original price.
As of writing, there are still over 40 pieces of furniture and accessories up for grabs. The “intercontinental lifestyle store” is found by sisters-in-law Pam Lopez and Maricar Lopez-Tiangco, who both have a knack for interior design, in 2015. After starting out as an online retailer, LSJ eventually opened a permanent showroom at The Metroclub in Rockwell, Makati.
LSJ’s furniture and decorative pieces, which often have a neutral color finish, have been described as chic and feminine. They mix classic French and European motifs with contemporary textures for a fresh take. In a report by Inquirer Red, Lopez describes LSJ as “this girl who travelled the world; she’s able to see what’s good out there with her eyes, and share it back home.”
