If we were to talk about the most creative chefs in Manila right now, it would be near impossible to forget to include Josh Boutwood, the Bistro Group’s executive chef. Boutwood has always been about challenging himself (evident in his latest concepts: Savage, which focuses on cooking with open fire; and Helm, which boasts an impressive color-coded menu), so to host another collab dinner comes at no surprise.
This time, Boutwood partners up with The Peninsula Manila’s Allan Briones of Old Manila, and The Bar beverage manager Rico Deang.
The eight-course, six-hands dinner will be held on Jul. 4 at Helm. Briones and Boutwood will be creating a tasting menu, paired with cocktails concocted by Deang. This collab dinner is priced at P4,900 + 10 percent ticketing service fee, which you can book at TicketToMe.net (Helm’s reservation service of choice). Two seatings are available for this night, happening at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
This collaboration dinner between Helm and Old Manila is the first of what they call the Nomad Series, “a collection of collaborative dining events that answers [the question,] ‘What happens when like-minded chefs come together and create?’”
For more information, contact Helm at 0906-2341900.
