Heads up: The walled city will be offering free admission to all the museums within its vicinity for one day. In celebration of National Museums and Galleries Month, the city will be holding the Intramuros Open House on Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The participating museums include the NCCA Gallery, Museo de Intramuros, and Destileria Limtuaco Museum.

Aside from the free admission to museums, there will be other activities lined up for the day. This includes a free ride on the tranvia, a photowalk, and Bambike rentals.

For more information on the Intramuros Open House, you can visit the official Intramuros Administration Facebook page. If you want to check out more museums this month, you can take a look at our list of history museums that offer free entrance all year-round.
