The coronavirus outbreak is changing the way we go about our daily lives. Social formalities like handshakes, kisses on the cheeks, and hugs are strictly prohibited, despite the President’s insistence [READ: Dear Mr. President, you of all people should know why social distancing is important amid COVID-19 outbreak].
Food establishments, on the other hand, are banking on out-of-store options like delivery as many people are avoiding crowded areas. This is also convenient for homebodies as well as they can avoid crowds but still have their favorites.
Wildflour, the chain of bakery and restaurants that first opened in BGC some years back, is also opening its doors for delivery for the first time to accommodate demand from homes and offices nearby.
Wildflour via DM
Two weeks ago, they launched Wildflour To-Go, an Instagram page where customers can place orders of their cakes and pastries through their DMs.

They offer fresh-off-the-oven goods like cronuts based on what’s available every day. You can check their menu on their Instagram Story Highlights. But if the one you’re looking for is not in there, they could look through other stores and have it delivered or you can pre-order it.
Pre-ordered cakes have a lead delivery time of four to six hours the following day, while for pastries, expect a lead time of 24 to 48 hours.

Otherwise, ordering the available items from the menu will only take three hours or less to be delivered on your doorstep.
Payments for such orders are processed through a PayMongo link and can be paid over-the-counter or through debit and credit cards. After payments are confirmed, they will send over your baked goods via GrabCar for cakes and through GrabExpress or Lalamove for other pastries, with customers shouldering the delivery fee.
