  • From free drinks and desserts to a discount card, here are a few treats waiting for you on the other side of your vaccination

If you’re one of the lucky few who are vaxxed, there are some extra benefits waiting for you. While many of us are waiting with bated breath to finally get a coveted vaccine appointment, there’s still some vaccine hesitancy in the country.

In a bid to encourage more people to get vaccinated, a few restaurant groups are offering freebies and rewards for people who have already gotten the jab. The benefits include free drinks, free desserts, and even a rewards card for a few restaurants.

When you’re ready to live your post-pandemic life, here are a few restaurant options that’ll throw in some extra treats at a flash of your vaccination card.

Moment Group

For fans of Ooma, Manam, Din Tai Fung, 8Cuts, and MoCookies, The Moment Group is offering vaccinated dine-in patrons a free Moment Card for a minimum spend of P1,000 in any of their restaurants. All you have to do is present your vaccination card and an ID with the same name to avail of the deal. The Moment Card entitles the bearer to a 10 percent discount for every meal from any restaurant under the company.

La Chinesca

Vaccinated tuna tostada fans, you’re going to enjoy this. La Chinesca is offering a free tuna tostada when you present your vaccination card and ID. For a minimum dine-in purchase of P500, the restaurant will throw in your tostada for free as a little treat.

Foodee Global Concepts

If you’re not familiar with Foodee Global Concepts, they’re the group that houses restaurants like Mesa, Tim Ho Wan, Hawker Chan, Pound Burgers, Bench Café, and a whole lot more. Feeling parched while vaccinated in any of these restaurants isn’t a problem. Just show them your vaccination card while you’re having a meal and you get a glass of iced tea on the house.
